Meet our Prodigy Family

Passionate & Experienced

Our passionate and experienced teachers are committed to creating a safe and nurturing environment where every child feels valued and supported.

Our Teachers

Miss Monica | Preschool Teacher

Miss Monica is thrilled to be part of the Prodigy Prep team. She has always loved working with children and started volunteering at her local elementary school at age fourteen. She knew she wanted to be a teacher from a young age and continued with that passion in college by receiving her degree in Elementary Education. After completing her degree, she went on to work as a Transitional Kindergarten teacher at a private preschool and discovered an interest in working with preschool age children. She has seven years of experience teaching in the classroom as well as twenty five years of experience working with and being a caregiver for young children.

Her teaching philosophy centers on creating an environment where children can explore and learn about the world around them, in a classroom where they feel comfortable and safe. She believes that children learn best through hands on activities and play as well as positive reinforcement.

Outside of the classroom, she enjoys walking, yoga, traveling and spending time with her husband and three children.

Her teaching philosophy centers around fostering curiosity and creativity through hands-on learning and play. She believes every child is unique and learns best through exploration and positive reinforcement. Her goal is to support each child’s
development and build a strong foundation for their future learning.

Outside of the classroom, she enjoys family movie nights with her son and Dachshund, Bella. She enjoys camping, crafting, and reading.
